We needed a tasty takeout food experience off 401 and this place came up. Incredibly good chicken and beef kebabs with rice and salad. Incredibly friendly family team. Fast. Parking out back so we decided to eat our takeout on the patio!

Barg Wrap (Steak) Shawarma Plate We stopped in today and ordered take out for lunch, after a friend had recommended this place to us. We spoke with the hostess and she was an absolute sweetheart. We did not know they have been around since 2008! However, there is new ownership this last year. I must say there's a reason people are recommending the food. There is free parking in behind the restaurant. The interior is cozy and has tables for dining in. We opted for a wrap and a plate; splitting both. The plate was loaded with rice, garlic sauce, hummus and lots of chicken shawarma. Topped with another sauce, this was the perfect combo. The meat was juicy and flavorful. There were multiple dressings to choose from for the salad. The Barg wrap was a steak wrap and my hubby commented on how tender the meat was. The wrap was an ok size and was a nice mix of veggies. All in all we had a solid experience and will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

We read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. The lamb was too good; succulent and flavourful. It’s a must try! The chicken kebab was more on the dry side. This place has 3-4 tables for dine in and ample parking in the back. Will definitely visit again to try other dishes. Love to support family-owned local businesses.

We've been coming to this place for years, and it’s still the best shawarma in town! The food is consistently delicious, with great taste and generous portions. The owners and staff are always friendly and accommodating, making each visit a pleasure. Highly recommend!

We made a very large order for the same evening, and they could not have been any more accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was even better. The Koobideh beef skewers and the Chicken Breast were both really juicy and tender. The rice was so soft and flavourful, and the Ghormeh Sabzi was perfect. The lady who took the order and prepared everything was so sweet, and was very helpful with all of our requests. This was the first time we've made a large order here, and this is now our go-to for larger gatherings. Cannot recommend this place enough - 5/5!

I randomly stopped in this restaurant on my way back to NYC from Toronto and I'm so happy I did. The staff were wonderfully friendly. The place felt clean and attended to and the koobideh was some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend!

I work in Oshawa and order from here on a daily basis. Their food is consistently mouth watering and the quality is unmatched. It’s my favourite food in all of Oshawa and actually within the entire Durham region. I’ve never ordered anything from here and felt disappointed. I’ve alway been so happy with the quality and flavour. Would definitely recommend!! They have a wide selection of options for everyone. Thank you for always satisfying my cravings! I went for lunch with my son after church. He told me that he tried it and it was good and would I like to go. I was very happy with the food. It was tasty. We had lamb. The portions were ample. I finished the meal and I was comfortably satisfied. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We ate in the dining room. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The price is reasonable. It was clean. Not fancy but homey. Well done. I will return. One of the hidden treasures in our diverse community.
